A Lifelong Passion for Soccer
Hello, I’m Ivan, and soccer has been my lifelong passion. It all started with my dad, who was quite skilled at the game. He used to take me along to his matches with friends when I was just 5 years old. Kicking a ball around with the grown-ups was an absolute thrill for me, and those memories of my childhood remain warm and cherished.
As I grew older, my love for soccer continued to burn brightly. I played throughout high school, during my college years, and now, I’m actively involved in the Soccer Leagues of Connecticut. In 2010, I earned a degree in Sports and Physical Education from Ivano-Frankovsk College of Physical Education in Ukraine. Here in the United States, I’ve had the opportunity to coach in summer camps, and I hold a USSF 4v4 coaching license. For me, soccer is more than just a physical activity; it’s a multifaceted sport. It teaches valuable life skills, such as psychology, quick decision-making, understanding opponents, strategic thinking, and the ability to be spontaneous when necessary.

Building a Competitive
Team and Nurturing Talent
Words can’t adequately express how deeply I love this sport. Even though I continue to play, my ultimate dream is to build and coach a competitive team. I want to nurture, develop, and refine the talents of young players, with the goal of creating a strong and successful team. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the same spark in the eyes, excited sighs, and emotions in my players that have been so familiar to me throughout my soccer journey.
